Go-at Media Ltd

Audio based projects for Go-at Media Ltd have been centred on narration about dance choreography. One project, editing eight sets of recorded voice instructions for the 'Move-Me' booth. This booth was an on-site installation which travelled around the UK. Participants selected a dance choreographer to 'instruct' them through an intimate dance, which was recorded onto video. Video was then 'streamed' to the move-me website.

Another project during the summer of 2006, recording interviews with an international cast of dancers and choreographers in Puglia, Italy. These recordings took place in a variety of situations. A project initiated by Katrina McPherson and Kirstie Simson examined the current state of improvisational dance. My secondary role was acting as boom microphone operator for video.

An audio design project for Dance United and Go-at Media Ltd, worked with poems and lyrics recorded by inmates from Holloway Prison. This audio montage of words gave an insight into the lives and cultural backgrounds of the women in Holloway. These audio designs complimented a live dance performance.
