D Fie Foe

A film and video animation company based in East Lothian. I have supplied music for a variety of children’s animated films. Music has been synchronised to action appearing on screen. Other soundtracks were thematic, giving a backdrop to individual scenes.

Titles have included: GFT Summer programme - Cosmos Cosmic Picture House : Prestonpans Infant School - Eenie Meany Mini Beasts : MacRobert Arts Centre Summer Programme - Cream Egg Island : Dundee College of Art - Plunder.

'Going Global' a trilogy of animations, created by pupils of schools in the city of Glasgow. This 'education pack' was available to schools in Scotland, highlighting racism and the plight of asylum seekers. I worked a week in residency at All Saints School in Barmulloch. Music was accompanied by recordings in several languages and dialects including English. The words emphasised an overwhelming theme of peace and understanding through tolerance and education.
